INSTALLATION

Your Succorfish must be installed correctly in order to validate your warranty. All installations must be carried out by an Approved Installation Engineer.

The Succorfish Install App allows the instant and paperless activation of a device and provides a fully traceable record of your device. Please note, only Approved Installation Engineers can access and use the installation app. To find an approved installer in your area, please contact Succorfish on the details above.

WARRANTY

Your Device is covered by a standard 1 year back to base warranty, unless your contract states otherwise. A copy of our full warranty is available via our website or Fisherman App.

Succorfish obligation under this warranty is limited to repairing or replacing, at Succorfish Ltd discretion, a defective Succorfish device.

Succorfish assumes no liability for consequential or contingent damage of any kind.

If you have reason to repair/return a device under warranty please ensure that you follow the warranty procedure. This will require an approved installer to run an inspection on your device through the installer app and inform Succorfish in advance of returning your device.

Succorfish will endeavour to repair/replace your device within 28 working days not including shipping.

CARING FOR YOUR DEVICE

Your Succorfish device has been designed to operate in harsh and challenging environments. It is important to understand that the device communicates wirelessly and will be affected by obstacles that will limit connectivity. For best results please ensure a clean point to point line of sight.

Succorfish provides the Fisherman App to enable customers to easily connect and monitor their hardware. Access to the App is via a Username and Password which will be issued in a welcome email. Via the App users are able to set up notifications for specific events or activities and manage their device(s) in a proactive manner.

The device must be treated with care and protected from undue physical damage. Waterproofing may be ensured by glands and it is the user’s responsibility to maintain these in a secure fashion.

Failure to properly maintain your device may void any warranty.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If your device is not performing as required you can contact Succorfish via email; enquiries@succorfish.com or telephone; +44 (0) 191 447 6883 for support. A simple troubleshooting guide is provided in the Help section of the Succorfish App. Please note, an approved installation engineer may need to visit your vessel in order to run an inspection through the installation app. Following an inspection, your device will be fixed or will need to be replaced.

DEVICE SAFETY

Your Succorfish Device comes with the assurance that it has been designed and manufactured to the highest standards and is Œ Certified.

It is imperative that the device is installed in a safe manner following Succorfish guidelines and by an Approved Succorfish Installer

DISPOSAL OF YOUR DEVICE

If you no longer require the service of your device, we kindly request that you return it to Succorfish where we will either recycle or reuse it in support of our Environmental policy.

ACCESSING YOUR DATA

All data generated by your Succorfish device is the property of the owner, unless stipulated otherwise. Succorfish fully supports our customer accessing their data and provide a number of tools to enable this.

As this data is often personal and sometimes commercially sensitive, Succorfish restricts access to the data. Access is gained via secure cloud- based services including a web portal (www.succorfish.net) or a variety of supporting Apps.

Succorfish offer a simple App to enable customers to quickly and easily check the latest status of their device / devices. The Succorfish App is available free for both IOS and Android devices.

The Username and Password needed to access these services are issued by Succorfish upon activation of your device. These details are sent via email only and require the customer to provide a valid email address. If for any reason you do not receive these please contact Succorfish and we will be happy to help.

It is very important that you maintain your contact details to allow us to secure your data. Please contact Succorfish if you require support with this. You will be required to answer a number of security questions when you make contact.
