What is the I-VMS roll-out plan for over six metre vessels?

The I-VMS roll-out plan focuses on scheduled port visits between 4 September and 30 November 2023.

Installations are being delivered in phases at English home ports starting at those locations with the largest number of registered vessels. By targeting those ports with the greatest concentration of vessels, the installation process will be more efficient for fishers, allow more time for engineers to reach vessels at smaller ports and, we believe, reduce disruption on fishing activity and best support industry.

MMO has contacted fishers with details of when installers will be available for bookings in your port, which you can find on gov.uk

You should book an installation directly with a supplier of a type approved device at any point – if you miss the dates for your port, installation of your device may be delayed.
